Small luxury tours
Daintree Safaris invites you to explore one of the most fascinating parts of our world in luxury and style.
Unlike most tour companies, our tour takes no more than six guests per day, traveling in the comfort of a spacious, late model Toyota 200 Series Land Cruiser featuring individual air conditioning and equal leg room throughout.
After all, you’ve come a long way to see us and therefore we think that you deserve the best.
Where the rainforest meets the reef
Firstly, we begin our day by crossing the Daintree River on a cable ferry to the heart of the Rainforest. Then we stop to enjoy a morning tea of homemade muffins and locally grown tea or freshly ground plunger coffee followed by a leisurely guided walk.
From here, we explore the only place on the planet where two World Heritage Listed sites meet as the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef touch at Cape Tribulation’s beach. Contact us to find out more.
The Daintree is a living remnant of prehistoric times. Remarkably, it is a place where Kangaroos live in trees and giant horned birds roam the dense undergrowth. This precious World Heritage listed rainforest is estimated to be around 150 million years old which makes it about 136 million years older than the Amazon. Just imagine what other marvels lie within.

As to be expected, we like to avoid the crowds at Daintree Safaris and you’ll never forget the peaceful experience of visiting our secluded swimming hole. Uniquely, it’s a tranquil spot, off the track and wonderfully untouched, a place to truly immerse yourself in the stunning beauty of this ancient rainforest After your swim, try a cool, tropical, delight at the Daintree Ice Cream Company.
